“Our family loves Mounds Elementary because they encourage parent involvement in many aspects. From Thanksgiving lunch, to school field trips, to learning expectations, we are always in the loop with what our daughter gets to do on a daily basis. That truly gave us such a sense of community when we moved into the district. I also love that my daughter isn’t bound to a textbook every day. Her teacher is always doing fun project based learning units, which I appreciate. Mounds Elementary is a great spot to be.”

Staff is very active and supportive in assisting with fundraisers/ activities to help further the students' growth.
