Guidelines for Cheerleading Tryouts
High / Middle School

You will be required to attend the cheer clinic on
*Monday, May 10th
*Wednesday, May 12th
*Mock Tryout Thursday, May 13th from 3:30-5:30.

Cheer tryouts will be held on Friday, May 14th @ 10:00 a.m.
Please wear a plain white t-shirt, solid shorts, socks, choice of shoes for tryouts. Hair should be pulled back and out of your face. Please no jewelry, long fingernails, or gum chewing.

Mandatory parent/candidate meeting held on Monday, April 5th, @ 6:30 p.m. in the elementary gym. Candidates must have 1 parent in attendance.

Candidates will be required to perform the following:
*Tryout Cheer
*Tryout Dance
*3 Cheerleading jumps
*School Fight Song in groups.
*Tumbling is NOT required, however, it can add points to your overall score.

Cheer clinic and tryouts are CLOSED with only participants, coaches, judges, and/or administration in attendance.
